The company was formed in February 2007 following the merger of Ingenta plc, a leading provider of online publishing technologies, and VISTA International, market leader in software applications to support the print publishing supply chain. The merger also incorporated former Ingenta divisions Publishers Communication Group (PCG), which provides sales and marketing consultancy to scholarly publishers, and Heron, which provides digitisation and copyright clearance to higher education institutions. Our separate divisions now work closely together to deliver integrated services to our clients, ensuring that they can benefit from the economies of scale and simplified relationships of working with a single, trusted partner.
The company is listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange (LSE:PTO) and has offices in Europe and North America.
